NSCC, which is the Nigerian Student Coalition Conference, is one of the biggests events that various Nigerian Students throughout California colleges look forward to and this year, the 9th Annual NSCC will be hosted by the Nigerian Student Association at the University of California, Irvine.

NSCC was founded in 2012 at the University of California, Riverside with the mission to “Unite students of all backgrounds on issues pertaining to the unique shared-life experiences of being Nigerian, Nigerian-American and/or West African.”

At NSCC, students will get a chance to learn more with their peers in fields related towards their aspirations and goals in life. Whether that is in engineering, education, science and medicine, entrepreneurship and law, or even fashion and content creating.

NSCC features fairs, speakers, panelists, charity donations, workshops, performances, food, fun, and much more. It will also be an opportunity for students to network and build on their leadership skills as they take on the world.

The theme for this year is African Giants: Leaders of the World. We are African Giants, our impact on this world is way too big to be ignored (word to Burna Boy). Our goal is to gather and celebrate the impact we have made and continue to make. It’s about striving for success and opening doors for our peers to display their excellence.

Don't worry though, the turn up is still real. So if you’re coming to NSCC, bring the energy. We are here to have a good time, and if you know one thing about Nigerians, enjoyment is plenty. So make sure to keep y'all calendars clear April 14-16th cause you would not want to be anywhere but NSCC!
